The Students’ who wish to enrol for the Undergraduate Courses offered by Navneet Education Society’s Navneet College of Commerce and Science (Affiliated to University of Mumbai) can apply through Online Mode only. The admission for the said courses will be done as per guidelines laid down by University of Mumbai.

  • Step 1

    Visit the college website and go to the Admission Section in Students’ Zone.

  • Step 2

    Click on the hyperlink titled “Online Admission Form”

  • Step 3

    The students’ will be redirected on the Online Admission Form (College) where students’ will be required to fill the Online Admission Form and pay Online Admission Form Fee.

  • Step 4

    After paying the Admission Form Fee students’ will receive an automated verification mail from the Admission Committee of the college on the email id which the student has filled in the Admission Form.

  • Step 5

    The said mail will contain the Form Details of the students’ also the Academic Fee Payment Link (student will be able to pay the fees only after he/she receives the verification mail).

**Please note:
  • The fee payment will be only through Online Mode only i.e Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking / UPI, etc.
  • Admission to the said course will be considered only after the Successful Fee Payment.
  • Step 6

    The students’ will be also required to fill the Online Preadmission Form on the University Admission Portal the link for the same is mentioned above.

**Please note:

  • *Students who have not filled University Online Form & College Online Admission Form* for the First Year Degree Courses are required to fill the College & University Online Admission Form as per the University schedule by clicking on the above mentioned links.
  • Students who have not paid the fees after their name being appeared in the Merit Lists displayed by the college will be required to write to the Admission Committee on admissions.dc@nesedu.in
  • If the College has seats vacant then a Merit List / Mail / Text SMS will be received by the student from the Admission Committee.

Requirements of Documents (For Admission):

A. Admission to First Year Degree Courses:

  • Preadmission Online Registration Form (University of Mumbai)
  • Online Admission Form (College)
  • Original Caste Certificate if applicable with 3 attested photocopies.
  • In addition to the above mentioned documents the following documents will be required too:.
Note: By foreign students’ it means the students who happen to be a permanent citizen of a country other than India and bears a Passport of the said country.

B. Admission to the Second and Third Year Degree Courses:

  • Students from other colleges affiliated to the University of Mumbai will be admitted only on production of “No Objection Certificate” with the PRN mentioned on the NOC obtained from the college.
  • The student will be liable to get the Trasfer Certificate issued from the previous college after being issued the request letter from college he/she is enrolled.
  • The admission will remain provisional till the Transfer Certificate is received by the College Authorities.

Eligibilty Criteria:

The College follows eligibility criteria as laid down by University of Mumbai:

According to Ordinance No. O. 2152 and Circular No. UG/142 of 2010, dated 1st July, 2010 of University of Mumbai the Eligibility Criteria for Bachelor of Commerce (B. Com) is as follows:

  • A candidate for being eligible for admission to the three-year degree course leading to the Bachelor of Commerce must have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (Std. XII) examination conducted by the different Divisional Boards of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education.
  • OR
  • Must have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (Std. XII) examination with vocational subjects/minimum competency based vocational course conducted by the different Divisional Boards of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education.
  • OR
  • Must have passed an examination of another University OR body recognized as equivalent to Higher Secondary School Certificate (Std. XII) Examination.

According to Ordinance No. O. 3941 and Circular No. UG/80 of 2010, dated 27th April, 2010 of University of Mumbai the Eligibility Criteria for Bachelor of Management Studies (B.M.S.) is as follows:

  • A candidate for being eligible for admission to the Bachelor of Management Studies (B.M.S.) three-year degree course shall have passed XIIth Examination of the Maharashtra Board of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent in first attempt only.
  • OR
  • Must have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (Std. XII) examination with vocational subjects/minimum competency based vocational course conducted by the different Divisional Boards of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education in first attempt only.
  • OR
  • Must have passed an examination of another University OR body recognized as equivalent to Higher Secondary School Certificate (Std. XII) Examination in first attempt only.
  • OR
  • Must have passed Diploma in any Engineering Branches with two years OR three years’ duration after S.S.C (10th) conducted by the Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education or its equivalent examination in first attempt only without any backlogs.
  • &
  • Every candidate admitted to the Degree course in the constituent/affiliated college/recognized institution, conducting the course, shall have to register himself/herself with the University.

According to Ordinance No. O. 5204 and Circular No. UG/395 of 2004, dated 7th September, 2004 of University of Mumbai the Eligibility Criteria for Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting & Finance) (B. Com (A&F) is as follows:

  • A candidate for being eligible for admission to the Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting & Finance) (B. Com (A&F) three-year degree course shall have passed XIIth Examination of the Maharashtra Board of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent in first attempt only.
  • OR
  • Must have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (Std. XII) examination with vocational subjects/minimum competency based vocational course conducted by the different Divisional Boards of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education in first attempt only.
  • OR
  • Must have passed an examination of another University OR body recognized as equivalent to Higher Secondary School Certificate (Std. XII) Examination in first attempt only.

According to Ordinance No. O. 5977 and Circular No. UG/10 of 2012, dated 27th February, 2012 of University of Mumbai the Eligibility Criteria for Master of Commerce (Accountancy & Management) (M. Com (A/Cs & Mngnmt.) is as follows:

  • A candidate for being eligible for admission to the two-year post-graduate course of Master of Commerce (Accountancy & Management) shall have passed the examination for the Degree of Bachelor of Commerce (Three years/Six Semester integrated course) or the Bachelor of Commerce (Old Course) from University of Mumbai, or an examination of any other University recognized as equivalent thereto.
  • OR
  • Any other semester based course i.e. Bachelor of Management Studies (B.M.S) OR Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting & Finance), etc. in the Faculty of Commerce or Science from University of Mumbai, or an examination of any other University recognized as equivalent thereto.
  • &
  • Every candidate admitted to the Degree course in the constituent/affiliated college/recognized institution, conducting the course, shall have to register himself/herself with the University.

According to Ordinance No. ______ and Circular No. _________, dated ______________ of University of Mumbai the Eligibility Criteria for Master of Science (Information Technology) (M. Sc (IT) is as follows:

  • A candidate for being eligible for admission to the two-year post-graduate course of Master of Science (Information Technology) shall have passed B. Sc Degree (Information Technology) of University of Mumbai or any other recognized University with minimum 45 percent of marks.
  • OR
  • B. Sc (Computer Science) / BCS / BCA with minimum 45 percent of marks.
  • OR
  • B.E. / B. Tech Degree in any branch with 45 percent of marks.
  • OR
  • B. Sc (Mathematics) with minimum 45 percent of marks.
  • OR
  • B. Sc (Physics) with minimum 45 percent of marks
  • OR
  • B. Sc (Statistics) with minimum 45 percent of marks

All admissions are provisional subject to approval from the University of Mumbai.

Payment of Fees:

  • Students belonging to SC/ST category have to pay prescribed fees. The balance fees would be received from the Social Welfare Department of the Government of Maharashtra the students can apply for the same online. However, each student has to submit undertaking to the college in the eventuality of the balance fees for the particular candidate not occurring from the Social Welfare Department till the end of the respective financial year, the same will be recovered from the said candidate.
